In the area for some business and stopped by . I used to come here with my dad and love this place. They have the best food in town. Great taste and large portions. Lunch specials are until 4 pm and come with soup and a win ton.
There's not much seating but the service is fast for take out or if your eating in

Ordered TOGO to be delivered to the house on a Sunday night through this application on yelp and guess what, they delivered the food in less than 30 minutes and it was piping hot...pleasant surprise was the food was actually pretty good as a matter fact it was very good... so thank you and thank you New York Chinese restaurant on a Sunday night in Seven hills, Henderson.
Border though hot and sour soup which was decent, the spareribs was very delicious, the Singapore noodles was delicious, and the orange chicken was good and side of rice came with the chicken... total including tip and delivery fee was $40.
So if you're in the mood to order food to be delivered in the seven hills area.... I highly recommend this place so keep up the good job and thank you...:)))) -

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had...and that says a lot. New York Chinese Restaurant is the type of place that makes you long for the time you were stuck in an airport on an extended layover and the only thing open was Panda Express. I've had better Chinese food in one-burrow towns in South America. I can't for the life of me understand how anyone except friends and relatives of the owners could give this a higher rating than two stars.
Since this was our first time, we decided to stick to the so-called "tried and true" dishes that are usually considered staples in Americanized Chinese restaurants such as Hot & Sour soup, Kung Pow Chicken, and Twice Cooked Pork. As an appetizer...and I use the term loosely, we ordered Mu Shu Pork.
The Hot & Sour soup was first to arrive. It was a deep dark, almost blackish color, which put us on notice that this was not going to be a typical recipe. It was neither hot nor sour. Instead, it was sickly sweet and essentially inedible. We decided not to comment on our dissatisfaction to the waitress as there's an old Chinese proverb that goes something like this..."don't f with he who fix food". After the soup fiasco, the Mu Shu Pork was brought to our table. Honestly, it looked pretty good. However, the rice wrappers that you use to wrap the filling like a burrito were rolled up in a plastic bag that had obviously just come out of a microwave set at high for about five minutes. Needless to say, they were stiff and unusable. If Gordon Ramsey were dining there, he would have ripped the chef a new a-hole and then tossed the microwave in the trash where it belongs.
The Kung Po Chicken was spiced to perfection. That is, if you were in charge of feeding the residents of an assisted living home. And, I'm not talking about the elderly residents who are still somewhat ambulatory, I'm talking about the residents who have been moved to hospice. Bland doesn't even begin to describe this dish which prominently featured notoriously tasteless canned baby corn, which has absolutely no place in Chinese cuisine. The dish was so bad that my mother-in-law could not tell if the protein was chicken or fish...which doesn't give me confidence about whether or not I'll be praying to the porcelain gods later this evening. I shall light a candle.
The Twice Cooked Pork was equally dreadful, except there was no doubt that it contained pork which was tough, chewy, and overly salty. I guess I should have been grateful that it at least had some flavor.
As Woody Allen once said, "there are two things Jews know...suffering and where to find good Chinese food. Let's just say, this Jew is suffering. -

Just went to dinner here and my family of 4 all left without eating. Dinner was terrible. Hot and sour soup was sweet and unlike anything I've tasted before. Disgusting. Dumplings were also terrible. Chili paste they gave me tasted as if it had gone bad. The wiatress seemed to be annoyed just taking our order. What a waste of money. I'll never go back there again. Go elsewhere, don't eat at this place.

Food was terrible and I was too scared to complain because the rude loud lady cleaning kept yelling and asking if we paid for our food. I think they cook everything in duck sauce and I am pescatarian. Awful. The guy a register was super nice tho
